Dual Diagnosis Treatment Services

Dual-diagnosis treatment at BoardPrep offers a complementary mix of services that have proven to be effective in the long-term recovery process.

At BoardPrep, treatment recommendations are developed to suit the unique recovery needs of each client, utilizing objective clinical criteria addressing:

  • Immediate medical and psychiatric safety needs
  • Therapeutic intensity needed for best outcomes
  • Comprehensive support needs during treatment

What Is Integrated TMS?

Integrated transcranial stimulation (TMS) is an FDA-approved, highly effective treatment procedure available for clients while they’re staying with us at BoardPrep. Known for its high success rate in alleviating depressive symptoms and regulating mood, TMS elevates activity in the part of the brain that controls vital emotional functions. At BoardPrep, we see improvement in early treatment engagement with our integrated TMS clients, many of whom report a significant decrease in cravings and anxiety, which they attribute to their TMS sessions.

How Much Does Treatment Cost?

We create completely personalized plans based on each individual’s specific background and mental health needs. We work with most insurance providers in the U.S. to provide the best coverage while minimizing your out-of-pocket costs. To see if your provider will cover your or a loved one’s treatment, verify your insurance:

Success Stories

Boardprep was recommended to us by a doctor friend of the family.

“Boardprep was recommended to us by a doctor friend of the family. Our daughter was very depressed working as a nurse through the pandemic. She began drinking more and some other things. Boardprep was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about nurses. I feel like we would have wasted a lot of time and money if we did not get their expert advice from the beginning. Thank you Liz and Boardprep!”

My family member was treated with dignity and respect and has had great results from Boardprep.

“My family member was treated with dignity and respect and has had great results from Boardprep. The family program was very informative and helped us prepare for life after treatment. Definitely attend the family bootcamp and communicate with your loved ones therapist. Getting involved instead of just dropping of your loved one is the best way.”

I was never made to feel like being in this program was a punishment.

I didn’t know what to expect. Other professionals that were in a similar program shared horror stories of what it would be like. They couldn’t have been farther from the truth. My experience was great! The weekly groups we’re inviting, casual, and easy to engage with the facilitator and group members. From my daily check-ins to my interactions with my case manager the experiences were great. I was encouraged to share, go to meetings, and seek extra avenues of care. I was able to start seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist. This helped make the program well-rounded. I would recommend it!
